MCL Putera II, with a 1600hp, was launched on 18 October 2016, witnessing another major milestone for MCL Logistics. With her addition to the fleet, MCL was gearing towards bigger barge size to serve our charterers.
For her maiden voyage, she towed MCL Pertiwi, a 270FT barge chartered to load gypsum from South Thailand to Pasir Gudang port.
MCL Persada, a 270FT x 80FT barge was launched in April 2015. Her maiden voyage was carrying gypsum from Thailand to Johor.
In May 2016, our barge was chartered to carry spun piles weighing approximately 2500 MT of spun piles from Johor port of Malaysia to Gresik, Indonesia.
