Each year, we move approximately 35,000 MT of sulphur to various ports in Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.
Sulphur is one of the most abundant element in the earth's crust. It can be mined or recovered from the oil and gas industry. Its most frequent usage is to produce sulphuric acid -- one of the most versatile mineral acid. It is widely used by fertilizer industry and other industries including non-ferrous metals, fibers and even personal care products.
Among some of the barges that we have used to load sulphur include our 240ft barge.
