Coal is a fossil fuel. It is one of the most important source of energy to generate electricity and also for the production of steel and cement. Even though there is cleaner substitute for coal, such as petroleum coke, it is still high in demand due to it being less susceptible to price fluctuations on the world market.
Among some of our barge that has been chartered to carry coal included our 270ft jumbo barge, which had carried coal from Indonesia to Cambodia and Thailand.
Since year 2018, we had added our 280ft and 300ft barge into our fleet to carry coal.
